Terms & Conditions

1. General Information

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the website https://www.villalapalmita.es and the booking of accommodation at Villa La Palmita, operated by Susalio S.L. By accessing the website or making a reservation, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

2. Identification of Parties

  • Owner: Susalio S.L., registered at Centro de Negocios Puerta de Banús Edificio B, Planta 1, 29660 Marbella, Málaga, Spain, with CIF B-29647351.

  • Guest/User: Any person making a booking or using the website.

​

3. Booking and Payment

  • Reservations are confirmed upon receipt of payment as specified during booking.

  • Prices include VAT and applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.

  • Payment methods: 50% to be paid 30 days prior to arrival and the remaining 50% to be paid 14 days prior to the arrival date.

  • A security deposit will be required 7 days prior arrival and will be refunded 5 days after departure, subject to the inspection of the property. This amount can be held on your credit card.

4. Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations must be communicated in writing.

  • Refunds depend on the notice period:

    • 100% if cancelled at least 30 days prior to the arrival date.

    • 50% if cancelled no leass than 14 days prior to the arrival date.

  • No refund for early departure.

5. Check-In and Check-Out

  • Check-in: From 16:00 pm.

  • Check-out: By 12:00 pm.

  • Early check-in and late check-out may incur additional charges.

6. Guest Obligations

  • Smoking indoors is prohibited.

  • Pets are  allowed, but are subject to an extra charge.

  • Guests must respect house rules and local regulations.

  • Damage caused by guests will be charged accordingly.

7. Villa Rental Specific Clauses

  • Maximum Occupancy: The villa accommodates a maximum of 6 guests. Exceeding this limit without prior approval may result in termination of the stay without refund.

  • Use of Amenities: Guests may use all listed amenities (pool, garden, kitchen, etc.) responsibly. Misuse or damage will incur charges.

  • Noise and Disturbance: Parties or events are not permitted unless authorised in writing. Guests must respect quiet hours and avoid disturbing neighbours.

  • Maintenance and Repairs: In case of maintenance issues, guests must notify Susalio S.L. immediately. We will endeavour to resolve problems promptly.

  • Force Majeure: Susalio S.L. is not liable for cancellations or interruptions caused by events beyond our control (natural disasters, government restrictions, etc.).

8. Liability

  • Susalio S.L. is not liable for loss, theft, or injury during the stay, except as required by law.

  • Guests use facilities at their own risk.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the website, including images and text, is the property of Susalio S.L. and may not be reproduced without permission.

10. Privacy and Data Protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. GDPR compliance applies.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Spanish law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Marbella, Spain.

12. Amendments

Susalio S.L. reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updates will be published on the website.

13. Insurance and Security Deposit

  • Security Deposit: A refundable security deposit of € 500 is required prior to check-in. This deposit covers potential damages, missing items, or excessive cleaning. The deposit will be refunded within 10 days after check-out, subject to inspection of the property.

  • Insurance: Guests are strongly advised to obtain travel insurance that covers cancellations, medical emergencies, and personal belongings. Susalio S.L. does not provide insurance for guests and is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal property during the stay.

What to include in the T&C document

Generally speaking, T&C often address these types of issues: Who is allowed to use the website; the possible payment methods; a declaration that the website owner may change his or her offering in the future; the types of warranties the website owner gives his or her customers; a reference to issues of intellectual property or copyrights, where relevant; the website owner’s right to suspend or cancel a member’s account; and much, much more.
